What doctors say after switching
Collected from SehatDoc customers across Pakistan and printed as they wrote them.
None of this is a software problem until you count the hours
Three situations every busy clinic in Pakistan recognises, and what changes once the records stop living in a register.
A patient comes back after eight months.
Someone goes through the register to find the last visit. Often the file is there and the handwriting is not, so the history gets taken again from scratch. With SehatDoc: Search the name or phone number and the full visit timeline opens at once.
The 6 pm slot gets double-booked.
Reception wrote it in the book, you wrote it on your phone, and neither of you knew about the other until two patients were sitting in the same waiting room. With SehatDoc: One shared calendar. Reception books it, you see it on your screen the same second.
Month-end arrives and nobody can say what the clinic earned.
Receipts are in a drawer, the pharmacy keeps its own notebook, and some consultations were never written down at all. With SehatDoc: Every consultation and every medicine sale lands in the same ledger, with daily and monthly totals already worked out.
From a one-doctor clinic to a hospital with wards
SehatDoc is clinic management software and a hospital management system in one. Start with the OPD; switch on wards and admissions when you need them.
Hospitals and nursing homes
A hospital management system (HMS) for OPD and IPD
Nursing homes, maternity homes, polyclinics and small-to-mid-sized hospitals run their wards on SehatDoc: the admission sits on the same record as the OPD visit, and room charges fill in on the discharge bill.
See the hospital management system- Ward, ICU, NICU and incubator beds with live occupancy
- Admissions, transfers and discharge on the patient’s OPD record
- Daily bed rates per unit, so the discharge bill adds itself up
- Department budgets, expense approvals and doctor payouts
Single-doctor clinic
Appointments, prescriptions on your own letterhead and the day’s takings, without a receptionist if you work alone.Multi-doctor clinic
Separate schedules for each doctor, one front desk across all of them, and revenue shares worked out for you.Clinic with a pharmacy
Prescriptions arrive at the counter as orders; batches, expiry dates and counter sales join the clinic’s day.
Six screens cover almost everything a clinic does in a day
These are the real screens your reception desk and consulting room will use from the first morning.
The day, the queue and the walk-ins on one screen
Reception books a slot and it appears on your screen immediately — no phone call, no shouting across the corridor. Walk-ins slot into the queue without disturbing the patients who booked ahead.
- Reschedule from the appointment itself, and reception and the doctor see the new time.
- A live token queue shows who has arrived, who is with the doctor, and who is still waiting.
- Follow-ups you set during a consultation come back as a reminder on the right date.

Write it once, print it on your own letterhead
Search a medicine, pick the dose, and the prescription prints with your clinic header, your registration number and a layout a pharmacist can read at a glance. Save the ones you write every day as templates.
- Type instructions in English, Urdu or Roman Urdu — whichever your patients actually read.
- Templates for common presentations: pick the template, change the dose, done.
- The same prescription goes to your pharmacy counter at once, and to the patient on WhatsApp with the add-on.

The bill is ready before the patient stands up
Consultation fee, procedures, lab tests and medicines land on one invoice. Reception records cash, card, JazzCash or EasyPaisa and the receipt prints, or goes out on WhatsApp with the add-on.
- Part payments and outstanding balances are tracked per patient, not on a loose slip.
- Daily closing shows exactly what came in, by payment method, before you leave the clinic.
- Monthly revenue, expenses and the gap between them, without anyone building a spreadsheet.

Eight months later, the whole history is still one search away
Search by name, phone number or MR number and the patient’s entire file opens: every visit, every prescription, every lab report, every bill, in the order it happened.
- Attach scans, ultrasound images and outside reports to the visit they belong to.
- Vitals are listed by visit, so a change is easy to check.
- Open the same record on your phone between sessions — it is the same file, not a copy.

The counter already knows what you prescribed
Your prescription reaches the pharmacy screen as a ready order. The pharmacist dispenses against it, stock comes down by itself, and the sale joins the same day’s takings.
- Batch numbers and expiry dates tracked per strip, with a warning before stock goes short-dated.
- Low-stock alerts on the medicines you actually move, not a list of everything.
- Pharmacy revenue reported separately, so you can see what the counter contributes.

Everyone gets their own login, and only what their job needs
Your receptionist manages bookings and payments, and clinical history stays off until you grant it. A second doctor sees their own list. The pharmacist sees stock and sales. You see all of it.
- Permissions are set per person, and you can change them without calling support.
- Pharmacy stock changes are logged, and a voided bill keeps who voided it.
- Remove a staff member’s access the day they leave — their account closes, the records stay.

Most clinic software was written for a different country
Imported systems expect English-speaking patients and card payments. SehatDoc was written on this side of those assumptions.
Roman Urdu where it matters
Dosage instructions can be written the way the patient reads them — “khana ke baad, din mein do baar” — while the medicine name and your notes stay in English. Nobody has to translate at the counter.
WhatsApp, not email
With the WhatsApp add-on, booking confirmations, bills and the prescription itself go out on WhatsApp, because that is where your patients are.
JazzCash and EasyPaisa on the bill
Record any payment method on the same invoice. Nothing about the billing screen assumes a card terminal.
A QR code on the clinic door
Patients scan it, see your real free slots, and book themselves in. Reception finds the appointment already in the diary.
Runs on what you already own
A five-year-old desktop at reception and your phone in the consulting room are enough. There is nothing to install and no server to buy.
Your receptionist should not be able to open a patient’s notes
SehatDoc gives each role its own portal. It keeps the screen simple for the person using it, and it keeps sensitive records away from people whose job does not need them.
- The doctor
- Opens on today’s list. One tap into a patient brings up the last visit, the current prescription pad and the follow-up date, without hunting through menus.Clinical notesPrescriptionsLab resultsClinic revenue
- The receptionist
- A separate portal built around booking, arrivals and payments. Clinical history stays off until the owner grants it to a particular person.AppointmentsPatient contact detailsInvoices and receiptsQueue
- The pharmacist
- Prescriptions arrive as orders to dispense. Stock, batches, expiry dates and counter sales live here, and nothing from the consulting room does.Dispensing queueStock and batchesCounter salesLow-stock alerts

Your records, held properly
A clinic’s files are the most sensitive thing it owns. Here is exactly how SehatDoc looks after them — no adjectives, just the controls.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Traffic runs over TLS. Stored records and backups are encrypted with AES-256.Access by role, not by trust
Clinical history is off for reception until you grant it. The pharmacist never opens a bank total. You decide who sees what, per person.Backed up every day
Automatic daily backups held separately from the live database, so a stolen laptop or a dead hard disk costs you nothing.Stock and voided bills leave a trail
Pharmacy stock changes go in an audit log, and a voided bill keeps who voided it.
From sign-up to your first prescription in one afternoon
No server to buy, no engineer to book, no three-month rollout. Clinics usually run their first real session on SehatDoc the same day they sign up.

What is SehatDoc clinic management software?
SehatDoc is an all-in-one clinic management system and EMR for doctors in Pakistan. It helps clinics manage appointments, patient records, digital prescriptions, billing, pharmacy inventory and lab requests from one secure cloud platform, with WhatsApp messages as a paid add-on.
Is SehatDoc suitable for multi-doctor clinics in Pakistan?
Yes. SehatDoc supports solo doctors, multi-doctor clinics, receptionist teams, and clinics with an attached pharmacy. You can add multiple doctor accounts, assign receptionist permissions, and manage shared patient records and billing centrally.
Does SehatDoc work for clinics with a pharmacy?
Yes. SehatDoc includes built-in pharmacy billing, inventory tracking, and POS features so prescriptions can move directly from the doctor to dispensing and invoicing without duplicate data entry.
Can SehatDoc send WhatsApp messages to patients?
Yes, with the WhatsApp add-on. Once SehatDoc switches it on for your clinic, patients get a booking confirmation, their bill and their prescription on WhatsApp. It does not send a separate reminder before the visit.
Is patient data secure on SehatDoc?
Yes. Records are encrypted in transit and at rest, each staff member sees only what their role allows, pharmacy stock changes and voided bills can be traced, and backups are taken every day. HIPAA is a US law that does not apply to Pakistani clinics, but our safeguards follow the same groups it uses; the data protection page lists them.
How much does SehatDoc cost in Pakistan?
SehatDoc plans start from PKR 4,000 per month for solo practitioners, with Care and Elite plans for growing and multi-doctor clinics. Visit the pricing page for full plan details.
