Google Calendar and Google Meet in SehatDoc

SehatDoc is clinic management and online appointment booking software for doctors, clinics and hospitals in Pakistan. Connecting Google Calendar is optional: it puts your SehatDoc appointments in your own calendar and gives you Google Meet links for online consultations.

What SehatDoc does with Google Calendar

One permission, used for two things: your appointments and your meeting links.

  • Adds your appointments

    When an appointment is booked in SehatDoc, or you confirm a booking request from booking.sehatdoc.com, SehatDoc adds it to your Google Calendar: the patient’s name, the time, and the notes or reason entered in SehatDoc.

  • Creates Google Meet links

    For an online consultation, start a meeting from Online Bookings. SehatDoc creates a calendar event with a Google Meet link and shows the link so you can send it to the patient.

  • Only in your own calendar

    Events go into the primary Google Calendar of the doctor or clinic owner who connected it, nowhere else.

What it does not do

SehatDoc only adds events. It does not look at the rest of your Google account.

  • No reading your calendar

    SehatDoc never reads, lists, changes or deletes your other events, and does not touch your contacts, email or Google Drive.

  • No selling or sharing

    Your Google data is never sold, shared, used for advertising, or used to train AI models, including SehatDoc’s own Sehat AI.

  • Off whenever you want

    Disconnect in SehatDoc and we delete the stored access and revoke it at Google. You can also remove SehatDoc at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Connecting

  1. In SehatDoc, open Appointments (clinics) or Google Calendar (listing accounts).
  2. Choose Connect Google Calendar and read what SehatDoc will do.
  3. Sign in with Google and allow SehatDoc to view and edit events in your calendars.

Only the clinic owner (admin) account can connect a calendar.

Disconnecting and deleting

  • Choose Disconnect in the same place. SehatDoc deletes the stored access and revokes it at Google.
  • Or remove SehatDoc at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • To have all Google data we hold deleted, email privacy@sehatdoc.com. Events already added stay in your calendar, which you own.

SehatDoc's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
