A diagnostic lab’s problem is rarely the testing. It is the paperwork around it: which sample belongs to whom, which result is verified, which report was collected, and whether anyone billed for it. SehatLab holds that chain in one place.
What it does
Six jobs, one system
Everything below is part of the module. There is no separate reporting licence or per-report charge.
Requests and sample log
Register a test request against the patient, print the sample label, and track where each specimen is — collected, in process, reported.
Templates for the panels you run
CBC, LFT, lipid profile, thyroid, renal function and anything else you report regularly, saved with parameters and reference ranges filled in.
Two-stage verification
The technician enters, the pathologist signs off. A report cannot be published until the second person has reviewed it.
Straight to the doctor
An approved report lands on the referring doctor’s patient timeline, so nobody has to carry a printout back across town.
Billing that joins up
Test charges go onto the patient’s clinic invoice instead of a separate lab receipt, and the collection shows in the same day-end total.
Reports on your own template
PDFs with your lab’s letterhead, your reference ranges, and out-of-range values marked so the patient and the doctor can both see them.

From order to signed report
Four stages, each one visible to whoever needs it. No stage depends on someone remembering to tell someone else.

Request
A doctor orders tests from the patient file, or your front desk registers a walk-in directly in the lab portal.

Collect
The sample is logged against the request with a label, and the patient is given a collection time rather than a guess.

Report
Results go into the saved template. Out-of-range values are flagged against the reference range automatically.
- 04
Verify and publish
The pathologist signs off, the PDF generates, and the report reaches the referring doctor and the patient together.

Can SehatLab run on its own, without the clinic software?
Yes. A standalone diagnostic lab can use SehatLab for requests, sample tracking, reporting and billing. The link to doctor portals is an option you turn on when a referring clinic also uses SehatDoc.
Can we use our own report format and reference ranges?
Yes. Report templates carry your lab’s letterhead and your reference ranges per parameter, including age and sex-specific ranges where you set them.
How do referring doctors receive the report?
A verified report appears on the patient’s timeline in the referring doctor’s SehatDoc account as soon as it is published, and can also be sent to the patient on WhatsApp as a PDF.
Does the lab module cost extra?
SehatLab is included from the Care plan upwards for clinics running their own diagnostics. Standalone labs are quoted separately — tell us your test volume and we will price it.
