Common questions

Still unsure? Send us the question and a person — not a bot — will answer it.

What is a normal blood sugar level?

For adults without diabetes, a fasting level below 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L) is normal.

How do I convert mg/dL to mmol/L?

Divide by 18. So 126 mg/dL is 7.0 mmol/L.

Does one high reading mean I have diabetes?

No. Unless you have clear symptoms, a doctor confirms the diagnosis with a repeat test.
